I was inspired by a photograph that I saw in Ian Plant's website. The green tones were really nice and gave me an feeling of Spring time- though I've never really experienced how spring is like. I live in Singapore where we don't have 4 seasons. It just hot and humid here.
Two years ago, my wife and I went to Italy for a backpacking trip. We visited 3 main cities - Rome, Florence and Venice. A lot of the buildings there were very old but beautiful, and historical. I was especially amazed at the churches where they had huge stained-glass windows that created fantastic ambience inside the hall.
So, here's an attempt to paint out what I felt visually, though in a completely fictional building.

Well, it's been a super long time since I've posted any art on my blog, so here's a new one. I guess I was busy with my work and my new house and didn't had time to paint any personal stuff - until now! Muahaha...
It's called "Looking back", just a Styracosaurus mom and her young walking towards a lake, and got their reflection caught on the water. Spent some time playing around the colors and lighting, and didn't get it right until I surfed the internet for some photos. The score of Photograph vs My brain... Photograph=1 My brain=0
Here's a weird idea about a huge tree which floats up, pulling up it's roots, soil and debris falling all around. Would be quite a spectacle...
